Joe and his team were professional, on time, and answered all questions we had. Our kitchen is gorgeous, functional, inviting, and so much more open. This was basically a gut job down to the studs, taking out a wall, redoing the electrical, moving appliances around. Joe also helped us re-do the lighting throughout our house, converting it to LED to try and save some kilowatts and $$. He and his team were so professional and happy to please. All the recommended businesses (granite, appliances, hardware) were winners also. I am just so happy this went well--he has restored my faith in the contractor/construction businesses, and now I know what to look for if I’m in need of any other type of work.

I selected Joe as he was extremely responsive to all of my questions and seemed to have a very positive and creative approach to the remodel. I was not disappointed! From the beginning, Joe made sure I understood every aspect of the job. I felt I was always aware of my choices and how they impacted my budget. He seriously considered all of my ideas even when I could tell he thought some were a little “unconventional”. His attention to detail was welcome as was his daily humor. His subcontractors were also excellent, professional and experienced.

The project went great! We found Joe through our cabinet maker, and as a consequence, we ended up with a mix of Joe’s subcontractors and a few guys we’d found separately. Joe stepped in and took charge of the project, even when it involved problems with the other subcontractors (who he wasn’t getting paid to manage). He was very committed to delivering a quality kitchen, and to getting all the details right.

We wanted to remodel our 1948 cottage and add a garage. We had a vision of what we wanted and Joe was able to capture that vision and make it a reality. We added a master bedroom over an enlarged one car garage, added a two car garage, completely changed the entrance of the home and made the whole package look like a custom built Craftsman home. Joe was always trying to save us money here and there and sometimes he succeeded. Joe was willing and able to do anything we asked and his drawing and design skills saved us the expense of an architect.
